The Gallery Collections
The Pilar Shephard Art Gallery features an eclectic ensemble of historic, classic and contemporary art. Paintings, sculpture, First Nations art, textiles, object d'art and folk art displayed in the gallery represent a broad survey of periods and schools.
How to Find the Artwork you Want to View?
You can find the artwork you want to view in several ways:
- Search by keyword - Type the keyword (a title or its part, artist name, media) in the search box in the header and click on the icon with arrows
- Browse by category - Click on a collection title in the left side navigation menu
- Browse by artist - Choose an artist's name on the drop-down menu on the left hand side; Artists are listed in alphabetical order by last name
- View new arrivals - Our new arrivals will always be displayed on the bottom of the home page of the website
How to Inquire about an Artwork?
When viewing artwork details, click on Add to my collection link. When you do this the first time during a visit, a new link will appear above the left side navigation menu - My Collection.
You can continue browsing the website, and add as many artworks as you wish to your collection. When you are done selecting, click on Inquire about the art on this page link, and you will be taken to an inquiry form. Please fill in the form and submit it, and we will get back to you promptly.
