Born in the Netherlands in 1955, Henk Gringhuis moved to East Canada in 2001 with his Maritime wife Maryann Arnold.

Inspired by always changing skies, landscapes with unreachable horizons and the loneliness of a single barn or farmhouse, Henk paints impressions of skies above non-existing fields with simple lines and warm colors. His work can be found in private collections nationally and internationally (Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain). In 2010 the New Brunswick Art Bank purchased one of Henk’s paintings.
